We present simulations of turbulent detached flows using the commercial lattice Boltzmann solver XFlow (by Dassault Systemes). XFlow’s lattice Boltzmann formulation together with an efficient octree mesh generator reduce substantially the cost of generating complex meshes for industrial flows.
The large columnar patterns resulting from the frozen wave instability in zero gravity conditions are investigated numerically for finite containers of immiscible liquids. The mode selection process is affected by forcing amplitude, frequency, container size and the vibroequilibria effect.
We present the hestia simulation suite: High-resolutions Environmental Simulations of The Immediate Area, a set of cosmological simulations of the Local Group. Initial conditions constrained by the observed peculiar velocity of nearby galaxies are employed to accurately simulate the local cosmography.
The convergence of quantum cryptography with applications used in everyday life is a topic drawing attention from the industrial and academic worlds. The development of quantum electronics has led to the practical achievement of quantum devices that are already available on the market and waiting for their first application on a broader scale.
This work presents and implements Quantum Abstraction Interface (QuAI). QuAI is integrated in an SDN agent to enable the vendor agnostic configuration of QKD devices.
We present a quantum enabled secure multiparty computation service able to perform private recognition of composite signals.
