Water flow glazings are characterized by a water chamber which transports the absorbed solar energy in the glazing. A multilayer water flow glazing comprises glass layers, Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) layers, coatings, air gaps, and a water layer. Heat absorption from solar radiation depends on the spectral properties of each layer.
Code Ocean is a cloud-based executable research platform that allows authors to share their algorithms in an effort to make the world’s scientific code more open and reproducible.
We study the existence of equilibrium positions for the load problem in Lubrication Theory. The problem consists of two surfaces in relative motion separated by a small distance filled by a lubricant.
The shape transitions and shape coexistence in the Ge and Se isotopes are studied within the interacting boson model (IBM) with the microscopic input from a self-consistent mean-field calculation based on the Gogny-D1M energy density functional.
160Gd(n,n′γ) experiments were performed with accelerator-produced monoenergetic neutrons.
Three-dimensional instabilities for two circular lid-driven cavities are investigated by a linear stability analysis and direct numerical simulations using high order spectral techniques. Two circular geometries have been analysed and compared: a circular cavitywith a horizontal top boundary and a circular cavity with a circular lid.
