The problem of rank aggregation, also known as group-ranking, arises in many fields such as metasearch engines, information retrieval, recommendation systems and multicriteria decision-making. Given a set of alternatives, the problem is to order the alternatives based on ordinal rankings provided by a group of individual experts.
Population restart mechanisms are a popular method to avoid premature convergence in Evolutionary Algorithms. Many different methods have used these mechanisms in the past in different scenarios.
The scalability of optimization algorithms is an important issue that has been thoroughly studied in the past. However, these studies were normally conducted by gradually increasing the dimensionality of the benchmark.
Accurately modeling how light interacts with cloth is challenging, due to the volumetric nature of cloth and the multiscale nature of cloth appearance, where microstructures play a major role in the overall appearance at higher scales.

We present the first real-time method to capture the full global 3D skeletal pose of a human in a stable, temporally consistent manner using a single RGB camera. Our method combines a new convolutional neural network (CNN) based pose regressor with kinematic skeleton fitting.
