The aim of this conference is to present new research in the field of high order numerical methods applied to mathematical models based on PDEs to simulate a wide range of physical phenomena.
Last 3rd and 4th of December 2018, the Center for Computational Simulation (CCS) hosted the 25th meeting of European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
The 3rd European FET Flagship was launched in Vienna last 29th of October 2018, the Quantum Flagship. The project will last 10 years and counts with a budget of 1.000 million euros. The CCS’ Director, Vicente Martín and his research team will take part in this project.
The aim of this project is to promote the integration of electrical systems in aircrafts. This will mean a reduction in the environmental footprint as well as increase in safety, efficiently and autonomy.
