The iDanae Chair (Intelligence, Data, Analytics and Strategy) in Big Data and Analytics was created through the collaboration between Management Solutions and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in the educational, scientific, and technical fields. The Chair aims to promote the generation of knowledge, the dissemination and transfer of technology, and the advancement of R&D&I in the areas of Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence.
The purpose of this event is to present the Chair to the academic and business communities, providing insight into the studies carried out.
The event, which will be presided over by Ana Crespo, President of the RAC; Óscar García, Rector of UPM; Ernestina Menasalvas, Full Professor at UPM and Director of the iDanae Chair; and Alfonso Serrano-Suñer, President of Management Solutions, will feature presentations by Academicians of the RAC as well as representatives from academia and the business sector.
During the event, the iDanae awards will be presented for the best AI initiative by high-school students with a scientific vocation and to the STEM student with the highest score on the university entrance exam.
The event will take place on December 1, 2025, starting at 6:30 p.m., and will also be broadcast live from the auditorium of the Royal Academy of Sciences. To attend the presentations in person (limited capacity) or to follow them via streaming, it is necessary to complete the attendance confirmation form in advance.
