Last 24th of May 2017, the Center for Computational Simulation (CCS) hosted its first CCS – Industry workshop. Representatives of several companies as well as members from all areas of research of CCS met at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The meeting aimed at finding out the needs of the industries in our key research lines and at making our skills known to the different organizations. The initial hope was to develop an open and continuous line of communication among, which was, indeed, very successful, and we managed to set some mechanisms to facilitate this collaboration.
Once again, CCS would like to thank Indra, Telefónica, Next Limit, Adam, Incotec, Tecteco, Movildat, Eris Innovation, Watch and Act e Isper Consulting for their time and effort in coming to the workshop, as well as their willingness to engage in a collaborative process with us in the search for developing cutting-edge I+D+I.
