Workplace: Center for Computational Simulation (CCS), GIICC. Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Campus de Montegancedo, Av. de Montepríncipe, 28223. Madrid, Madrid, España.
Line of work: the candidate will work on the design and operation of quantum networks within the “software-defined networks” paradigm. The design and deployment of a quantum channel switching scenario within the MadQCI infrastructure will be studied. Additionally, the candidate is expected to contribute to this switching in various ways to enable a detailed study and develop and draft a description of possible tests for the recalibration process.
Experience required: the candidate must have strong programming knowledge. A high level of certified English proficiency is required. Previous experience in systems integration will be positively valued. Familiarity with Linux systems is desirable. Prior experience in entrepreneurship and technology transfer is also desirable.
Required degree (student): degree in Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
Conditions:
- 2 months duration, with expected start date: 01/12/2024.
- 37.5 h/week (full time).
- 1.500 gross €/month.
