Last 3rd and 4th of December 2018, the Center for Computational Simulation (CCS) hosted the 25th meeting of European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Representatives of around thirty European Institutions attended this meeting. Some of them were Telefónica S.A., Huawei, Toshiba or British Telecommunications plc.
The ETSI QKD is working to introduce the use of quantum cryptography in order to truly secure the key-distribution technology. It pursues to put in practice the work that has been done in laboratories.
